What to expect

  1. Kotor Serpentine

We start from Kotor and climb on the old road from the time of the Kingdom of Montenegro. It is a road that calls for adventure, and the story of that road hides the legend of one love. Referred to as the ‘serpentine road’, the road has 25 switchbacks and gives you incredible views of the Bay of Kotor. The drive to Njegus will take an hour.
Namely, on the part of the road from Kotor to Trojica, there is an M-shaped moat. According to the story, the young engineer Josip Slade-Šilović had the task of designing a modern road for cars from Kotor to Cetinje after the Berlin Congress in 1878. This designer from Trogir was later a palace builder, and with the letter M he allegedly showed his secret love for the Montenegrin princess Milena. The Montenegrin writer Jovan J. Martinović also passed on the joke of the people of Cetinje, which was created at the expense of this letter M. "And imagine if he accidentally fell in love with Princess Olga, this journey wouldn't end without a fiddle.

  2. Njegusi

    30 min

After this photo stop, we will enter the village called Njegusi, a typical Montenegrin mountain village where you will be able to taste the most well known traditional products, smoked ham and cheese! We bet that afterwards you will understand why we are famous worldwide for it! While visiting this area on our Montenegro tour you will understand how Montenegrin spirit, culture and identity survived the turbulent history of Balkan.

On the way to Budva, we stop to capture the moment with a photo break at Vidikovac of Budva where you can see the amazing view of the city of Budva.Budva is capital of Montenegin turism. This city is the most popular tourist destination in the country and boasts excellent beaches as well as a lovely, walled city center. The old city center is picturesquely located on a rather small peninsula, and its narrow, winding streets hide a multitude of historic buildings, churches, and small squares that will amaze you. Among the most interesting monuments here is the Church of Saint John from the 7th century, Saint Mary of Punt from the 8th century, and the Church of Saint Sava from the 12th century. The medieval city fortress is called the Citadel, SHE WILL TELL YOU SOME STORIES.

  5. Kotor

    1 hour

After an hour full of excitement, we arrive in Kotor. Kotor's location in the most beautiful bay of the Mediterranean Sea and the impressive medieval Old Town were the reason why UNESCO included this city in the list of world heritage sites.
